Hello!

I’m Mary Kate. I am a Memphis-based destination wedding & fashion photographer, specializing in film-inspired, natural light, fine art photography. I also shoot regularly in Oxford, Mississippi, Pennsylvania and New York. I like to think of my style as romantic, elegant, timeless, with a touch of adventure. Jane Austin, specifically the book, Pride & Prejudice, is where I find a lot of my inspiration. For me, the story is key. Whether it’s your wedding day, your fashion blog or a fun family photo shoot, I aim to capture every detail and bring your event or session to life.

My own story started in the charming little town of Lititz, Pennsylvania, which still holds a precious place in my heart today. A new chapter of life brought me to college in Memphis, Tennessee. I've built a home here and have filled pages with laughs and adventures. My favorite adventure so far is being a Mom! I’m inspired daily by my sweet little boy, Mark and adorable Golden Retriever, Trevor.  I’m a down to earth girly girl who loves shopping, mountains, coffee shops and all things classy, pink, gold, and Kate Spade.

In 2011, I purchased my first camera. My hobby turned into a part-time business, and finally launched into full-time in 2015. Every session is an authentic experience, deserving of authentic care. I value client collaboration and ideas, anything to dream up your perfect vision! We’ll keep things laid back, fun, and relaxed so your confidence can tell the story through each photo.

My photography business is so much more than showing up and delivering. It is an opportunity to build new friendships, fall in love with new culture and ultimately, bless and serve my clients above and beyond. I would love to hear from you and start telling your story the way you imagine it. Please fill out my inquiry form or email me at marykatesteelephotography@gmail.com with any questions!

XOXO
